How to record my screen?

If you need to show our support team what’s happening on your screen, a screen recording can be more helpful than a screenshot.

Screen recordings on Windows:

Windows 11 (Snipping Tool)

  • Press Windows (⊞) + Shift + R on our keyboard.
  • Click and hold your mouse, then drag over the area you want to record.
  • Click Start. Three seconds later, it will start recording.
  • To stop recording, click Stop.
  • A window with your recording will open. Press Ctrl + S to save the file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop.
  • To send by email: Drag the saved file into your email message.
  • To send through the support center: Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.

Windows 10 (Xbox Game Bar)

  • Press Windows (⊞) + G on our keyboard.
  • If prompted, click Yes, this is a game.
  • Press Windows (⊞) + Alt + R to start recording.
  • To stop recording, press Windows (⊞) + Alt + R again. The recording will be automatically saved in Videos\Captures.
  • To send by email: Drag the saved file into your email message.
  • To send through the support center: Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.

Screen recordings on macOS:

To take a screenshot:

  • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 on your keyboard.
  • Choose Record Entire Screen (screen icon with a dot).
  • Click Record.
  • To stop recording, press Command (⌘) + Ctrl + Esc. The recording will be automatically saved on your Desktop.
  • To send by email: Drag the saved file into your email message.
  • To send through the support center: Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.
