How to take a screenshot?

If you need to show our support team what’s on your screen, taking a screenshot is the easiest way.

Screenshots on Windows 7/10/11:

To take a screenshot of your entire screen:

  • Press Windows (⊞) + Print Screen (PrtScn) on your keyboard.
  • To send by email:
    • Click in the body of the message.
    • Press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot.
  • To send through the support center:
    • Open the program Paint (press Windows (⊞), type “Paint,” and press Enter).
    • Press Ctrl + V to paste your screenshot into Paint.
    • Press Ctrl + S to save the file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop.
    • Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.

To take a screenshot of a single window:

  • Click the window you want to capture to make sure it is active.
  • Press Alt + Print Screen (PrtScn) on your keyboard.
  • To send by email:
    • Click in the body of the message.
    • Press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot.
  • To send through the support center:
    • Open the program Paint (press Windows (⊞), type “Paint,” and press Enter).
    • Press Ctrl + V to paste your screenshot into Paint.
    • Press Ctrl + S to save the file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop.
    • Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.

Screenshots on macOS:

To take a screenshot:

  • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 on your keyboard.
  • A small menu will appear with options. Select one:
    • Capture Entire Screen (screen icon)
    • Capture Selected Window (window icon)
  • Click Capture. The screenshot will be saved automatically on your Desktop.
  • To send by email: Drag the screenshot from your Desktop into the message.
  • To send through the support center:
    • Click Add file under your support ticket and select the screenshot you saved.
