Even if you use features like rules and customizable folders to sort your mail, it can still be difficult to find a specific email. While you can manually go through your folders, there's a much easier way to quickly find what you're looking for – all you have to do is use the Search feature. Using the search feature is easy. You can find the Search bar in the top right corner: You can use this bar to search for keywords in the title of an email, the body, or the address of the person who sent it to you. Simply type in your keywords here. If what you're typing is an email address, eM Client will give you a list of options to complete the address based on who's in your contact list. Then, all you have to do is hit "Enter" and a list of emails with that phrase will pop up. For a slightly more advanced search, you can click the little arrow in the right corner and a drop-down menu will appear. This can help you narrow down your search by specifying things like if the keywords should be in a reply, in the body of the email, if the email has an attachment, or if it was sent before or after a certain date. You can even click the arrow at the end of the search bar to get a list of advanced options to further narrow down your search. Using the advanced options, you can combine several different searches together to make sure you end up finding the exact email you were looking for.
